"I am not a small man. The Select Comfort Bed is the best bed I have ever slept on. This is the Second one I have purchased the first one we gave to our oldest child it was about 9 years old and it was still like new. It has held up better than any other mattress and box spring set I have ever purchased in my lifetime. Being able to adjust your side of the bed without upsetting tne other is great. I had back pain every morning when I would wake up, but since we purchsed the Select Comfort Bed I have not woken up with back pain in 10 years. I believe it just from being able to sleep with your whole body being supported evenly no matter how you sleep or how big or small of a person you are. This sleep system is just incrediable."

"When I first saw the Sleep Number Bed I was a little skeptical on how a bed could improve sleep and give you the flexibility to adjust the firmness of the mattress. I have thought about buying this bed for years, but was scared away by the price. I am happy to report that after almost a month of sleeping on this bed, the C4, I have absolutely no regrets. I do sleep great on it at night and there is no more hip pain and tossing and turning. Oh, about the one small problem, I sleep so good at night that I do not want to get out of bed and am sometimes late for work."

"I had bought a new regular bed 10 years earlier and I was stuck with it ...so uncomfortable. 7 years ago I bought the sleep number and loved it. I have recomended this bed to several friends and they love theirs. This bed is still just like new. I just bought a new home and will buy two more to put in additional rooms. The bed may seem a little pricey but when you get what works it is worth it remember we spend close to half our life in bed."

"The Series 4000 has a small amount of pillowtop on the top - not so much that you lose the feeling of air support, just enough to be comfortable. It's the perfect bed for our guest bedroom."

"I'm a big guy. I got really tired of flipping over and rotating our mattress every month or so. It was a lot of back-breaking work just to get a so-so night's sleep. Even then, I woke up stiff and sore. But not any more. I sleep soundly, and our mattress stays put! I was amazed at the quality of the air bladders from the moment that I opened the boxes. All my apprehensions of popping a cheapy type air mattress vanished. My wife and I love this bed. If you're a "heavyweight", this bed will knock you out cold everynight! ZZZZ..."

"We bought the first Select Comfort bed in 1997, and both of us slept well for the first time in 22 years of marriage. Last year we tried to sleep on the brand-new, top-model king-size bed in our new Alfa fifth wheel, and couldn't stand it. Shoulders, backs and hips were KILLING us! We quickly ordered a new Sleep Number "top" to set on the wood platform in the fifth wheel. We can sleep wonderfully and pain-free no matter where we go! We simply turned the mattress 180 degrees and placed the pump & hoses under the foot of the platform. One way or the other, we were going to find a way to sleep well during our travels!"

"This bed is the most comfortable thing I've ever slept on. It's nice to be able to control each side of the bed individually. The only thing I don't like is that I seem to sink into the middle of the bed if the two sides aren't inflated to the same level."
