Comfort Searcher
Date: October 22, 2009
"My husband and I had gone through 4 mattresses in less than 10 years, looking for something that wouldn't irritate his disc problem. This is certainly the best so far. He found a comfortable setting within a few nights. It took me about two weeks to find the right spot for me, but now I am having wonderful night's sleep. I only wish that we had sprung for the model with a digital control. I like to sit in bed reading, and would prefer to make it firmer to do that, but it is too difficult to find the sleep setting I want without a # for a reference point. We both leave the control alone now that we found our perfect settings."

Worst Night's Sleep Ever
Date: October 15, 2009
"Every night's sleep for the past 5 months has been miserable with this awful mattress. My wife and I consistently wake up with neck and back pain. I've tried all different "comfort" settings. I even tried purchasing a down mattress topper to offset the uncomfortable/cheap feel of the mattress, but to no avail.
Previously, I slept on the same mattress for 25 years and never had as terrible a night's sleep as I have had with the "Sleep Number" mattress. Ultimately, the "Sleep Number" mattress is a couple of glorified camping mattresses stuffed inside a zip-up pillowtop.
I would never recommend a Select Comfort product to a friend, and I will never purchase another product from them again."

Love my bed
Date: September 2, 2009
"We ordered the basis model about 6 yrs ago. I love my bed. I just stayed at my parents house for a few nights and that bed has about killed my back, can't wait to get back into my bed. One thing I do not like, is that the bed is so light that it shifts real easy. I'm trying to figure out what I can put up under the air chambers to make the bed heavier so that it won't shift around. It may be the cause of having a dust ruffle but I've tried those non-skid pads that you use for rugs but no luck, still shifts. I would really like to upgrade to one of the more expensive model."

I will never own another bed
Date: August 17, 2009
"We have had our sleep number for going on 10 years now and neither my wife nor I will ever own another type of bed again! When we go on vacation we drewad sleeping knowing it will be on a standared mattress. The quality of this product is OUTSTANDING so do not fear it popping as it is not an airmattress like you buy for the floor. I reccomend the foundation to go with it as it holds everything together very nicely and looks sleek. When the time comes to replace our mattress you know we will be buying another sleep number!"

"Has a piece of hard foam running length wise down the center of the bed. Not good for "cuddling"!"

I Love It
Date: May 29, 2009
"I've had the basic Mattress with non-numbered firmness control for over 5 years, and I love it. I sleep and wake up great. For me, the digital numbers are unecessary. I just set it to where I like it and forget it, maybe adjusting it once every few months. (Nuggy, tell your kids to keep their grubby hands off your firmness control). I was also able to pack my mattress into a couple of boxes and ship it by UPS when I moved away for a year!"

"My wife and I got this bed looking for something relatively cheap to have for a couple years before moving back east. Still, it still took a lot of our hard earned money to buy this bed. First, I know this is their most inexpensive model, but shouldn't a sleep number bed come with a number on the remote? This does not, one is merely guessing, so if kids mess with the remote, it takes days to find the right spot again. It really feels like an air mattress I camp with, not a bed. My wife and I wake up daily with sore backs, neither one of us has ever had a sore back before buying this bed. To try to correct the problem I figured I could deal with the shoddy non-number system, but wanted the tiny foam pad to make it feel less like a camping pad, but was told that is a 350.00 upgrade. Are you kidding me? This will be my first and last select comfort beds."

Wish we hadn't waited so long.
Date: April 21, 2009
"We purchased this bed around the first of the year and have not regretted it. From night one we both have slept better, and the cat loves it to. It was easy to assemble without help. The only kind of down side is that the queen sized seems small for 2 adults. So the next time we get one we will get a king sized. Over all a great bed well worth the money. If you don't have one what are you waiting for?"

Got it for our guest bedroom
Date: March 20, 2009
"When it came time to purchase a new bed for our guest room, there was only one choice: sleep number! We have had a kingsize for nearly ten years and it's just as comfy as the day we got it! Thank you for a terrific product."

I love this bed.
Date: March 20, 2009
"I love this bed. I bought it after a car accident left my back in constant pain. It has helped so much. I may be in pain when I go to sleep, but I'm not in pain when I wake up. And I love the fact that I can change the firmness/softness level depending on how my back feels that night. The added bonus is that I can sleep on one sleep number and my fiance on another sleep number. That way we both get what we need in a bed and we only have to buy one bed. It's fabulous."

No more tossing and turning
Date: March 20, 2009
"I recently purchased the 3000 model and am very happy with my purchase so far. I used be tired every morning and throughout the day due to poor sleep. It got to the point where I was only getting around 4 hours of sleep each night, waking up every hour to turn over. Now I wake well rested every day. My partner sleeps great too. No more tossing and turning. No more frustration at 3:00 a.m. Also, back pain has been relieved! I If I ever buy a home, I will upgrade to a King, 7000 model perhaps. For now, the 3000 model fits my lifestyle (23 yr old f)."

I've had mine since 1998
Date: March 19, 2009
"I have had a Select Comfort bed since 1998, and for me the most compelling point is that it is the SAME as it was when I bought it (no sags or uneven areas). I accompanied my daughter and her husband to the store last week and they bought a king size bed, and we bought a twin for us. A suggestion: I was surprised that we could buy a Select Comfort bed so inexpensively. (I warned my daughter that they are "pretty pricey"). It might be well to mention that in your advertising. The secret to a Select Comfort is the ability of the air bladder to provide even support. All the fancy covering and pads really do not do this (and indeed in my experience with former mattresses is that every type of pad will compress after a few months -- convoluted foam, extra-thick mattress covers, anything that I tried). There was even a time that I tried thick pads on my Select Comfort (during a time of significant muscle soreness after a shoulder operation). I ended up removing all the pads."

"I love this bed! My husband and I both suffer from arthritis and we are waking up refreshed for the first time in years! I will never own another mattress brand!"
